My Christmas Fear

Christmas is coming and I know what my kids want to see under the tree. I also know it is all on sale at Walmart, the day after Thanksgiving- you know, the Black Friday Sale...

Can I just say I am terrified of those sales?!? I've heard stories of pushing, shoving, being run over by shopping carts, etc... Does that sound like Christmas to you? If you have participated in this madness and more importantly, survived it, will you let me know? Oh, and if a store opens at 5 am, what time do you have to be there?

I've gone. Gives me a headache. It has to be a screaming deal to get me there. The nice thing about walmart (and believe me, that is hard for me to even say out loud), they are open 24 hours so you can get there and stand by the pile of merchandise to wait for the 5 am sale to begin. They usually have it shrink wrapped in the aisle. Good luck. It's sort of fun to go with someone else.

The few times that I have gone, I have come home without what I wanted because I didn't get there early and camp out. I am tempted by something every year, but I will probably talk myself out of it. How good of a deal is it?

i avoid them like the plague. i have enough in my life that gives me anxiety...do i really want to throw myself in that?

now the big question is did you do it? was it successful? or did you walk away in hives and crying like i would of!!!
