This is my little update on my goals for 2010. A few weeks ago I heard that most people have quit their New Years resolutions by Presidents Day. Well, to be honest, I haven’t even started some of mine- darn exercise, darn weight loss, darn reading an actual book once a month! But on some, I am in full steam ahead mode.
We didn’t increase our food storage by much this month due to not having a lot of time to shop. A few things have been added to the shelves, but not enough to brag about.
Becoming debt-free- I worked a ton of overtime and paid 2 1/2 months worth of debt payments. I didn’t set out to do this, in fact, I was going to reward myself with this…
but when it came down to it, I knew what I had to do. Someday, Oquirrh Mountain Temple, you will hang on my wall.
The other things that were accomplished this month are private and long overdue. I feel at peace with the direction our family is headed. The Lord is blessing us as we strive to make the right decisions.

good job jamie! just keeping the goals in mind is hard for me. you did great!
Jamie...so good to catch up with you and your family. You've always been an inspiration to me. This post reminded my why:)
Way to stick to it and exercise self control. How is the new position at work?
Good for you! I'm the same with exercise and weight loss. I haven't lost any since I last saw you guys. But I'm ready now to get going again. And I guess if you never start the resolution, you never actually quit. That makes me feel better.
Good for you! I know I have improved in many areas, but once again I took so much time just thinking up which resolutions I should have this year and never wrote them donw....maybe I should do that.
You are awesome! When I read your blog then I want to do something better too! I am so proud of you on the debt thing. Everytime I get extra money I want to play. I have got to get enrolled in the FPU class soon!
