Caleb’s date to Sadie Hawkins was almost two weeks ago and I’ve been too busy to post about it. A couple of days before the dance, Kailee came over to bring Caleb a matching shirt and told him she would pick him up at 3:30 on Saturday. When the time rolled around she walked over to our house and I made them take a couple of pictures, then wished them a fun night. Caleb just sat there. Finally he said, “Aren’t you going to carry me?” Poor Kailee looked a little confused, but Caleb kindly reminded her that she had told him she would come “pick him up”.
The date consisted of two additional couples of great kids and it sounds like they had a fun time. They spent the afternoon playing games, having dinner, and then going to the dance. I love to see Caleb enjoying these fun years of high school.
